Love, love, love this place. I have eaten in with my family and done take out. Both were very good. The mexican sushi roll is my boys favorite. I love the seaweed salad and curry. Great, fast service! Also went above and beyond to teach my boys how to eat with chop sticks.

Sabai Thai is a bike ride from my house which makes it all the more convenient to pick up my favorite Thai dish, papaya salad! I ordered take out a few times before I finally sat down and had a meal there. It's is a small restaurant, generally quite busy on a Friday evening. It is in a very discreet shopping plaza, if you don't look for it you may miss it. I was soooo excited to find that they have papaya salad along with other very authentic Thai dishes. I ordered the pineapple fried rice and the serving was huge. It made for two additional meals when I brought it home. My fiance had the yellow curry which he completely polished off because it was so wonderful. The highlight of the meal was the dessert. It was red bean and coconut ice cream served on top of warm sticky rice. I'm drooling just thinking about it now.

Like everyone says, it's run by a very nice family, and they don't charge an arm and a leg, so thats good. Drunken noodles are the best. They know what they're doin!

I love Sabai Thai! I can't say best Thai this side of NYC because I've never been there. I can't say it's authentic because I don't know any Thai people willing to cook for me. I can say the place is always clean, and consistently puts out great tasting food cheaper than a lot of other places in town.

So delicious and authentic, and most important awesome staff! Very nice with funny jokes. Told me not to drive after ordering the drunken noodles haha

I eat here all the time. The owner is really funny and loves to trade jokes, he's always out on the floor walking around. The pad Thai is the best I've found in south Florida and it's a really generous portion. I love this place and take all my friends that like Thai food here.

I heard about this restaurant by word of mouth and the recommendation delivered. I have eaten at many Thai restaurants but none as authentic and delicious as this. If you are interested in truly authentic dishes as they are traditionally prepared in Thailand, there is a special menu available by request. So if you are interested in a different culinary experience the authentic menu may be for you. But if you are looking for out of this world traditional Pad Thai, Thai Curry, noodle dishes, Thai soups, salads and more - this is the place for you! We ended our meal with home made green tea ice cream & red bean ice cream and both were unusual and delicious. Owned & operated by a husband & wife team of which the wife is the chef and the husband is the smiling front of the house Manager. The service here gets an easy 5 stars. There is a combination Sushi bar / Beer and wine bar with a large screen TV playing above it. The atmosphere is quiet, cheerful with an attractive decor. I found this restaurant to be exceptionally clean. It's a small restaurant that appears to seat about 25-30 so calling ahead for seating is recommended. We went early on a Wednesday night and were seated immediately but week-ends are full. But wether you go during the week for a quick bite or a leisurely date night out, you definitely won't be disappointed here!

Friendly, well prepared and authentic Thai in a small strip mall, I was surprised at how well the food and service was. I'll be back

Fabulous Thai food. Very small and homey feel. The pad thai is incredible! Everything is fresh and worth waiting for. I ate here twice in the same week and I never do that anywhere. Worth driving for.

My boyfriend and I eat here a few times a month, and have never been disappointed with the quality of the food, nor the service. Both are consistently excellent. Please don't overlook this wonderful restaurant in the rather nondescript strip mall in which it resides. You won't regret eating here!

I've eaten at Sabai many times and have never been disappointed. Without a doubt the best Thai food in Lake Worth!

Love the food. I must say that they have the best Thai in the area. The owner and staff are so friendly and gracious. The food is fresh, hot and well prepared. Go for a great treat.

The best Thai place no one has heard of... Best Pad Thai I've had outside of NYC. I've had most of the dishes on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. Maybe I've been lucky or maybe its just that consistent and good. Clean place, good service and good prices. You can't miss. Also, the owner is very kind and very funny.

Sabai Thai & Sushi is the best restaurant around. If you love Thai cuisine this is the best! You can not go wrong with anything on their menu. Their Basil Fried Rice is my favorite! Also the Fried Ice Cream dessert is like none other I've ever tried. The restaurant is clean and the prices are reasonable. The service is fast and great, they are very friendly.

This place is the best. The staff are really friendly and the food tastes great. I love the stir fry. I've yet to have a bad dish.

Small little place with a cozy layout that makes it great for a nice dinner for two. The beef salad was amazingly fresh, light, and tasted great. The Pad Thai and Shrimp fried rice delighted my palette enough so that I will defiantly come back again(and again) Great Job!!!

Have been coming here for years. Outstanding, generous portions & excellent service. My only regret is I forgot to take a photo of our dinner to post. Consistently delicious!!!

Absolutely love this place! Shrimp Tom Yum soup is the best and the combination fried rice is great! The chicken Penang Curry it the best we have ever had. I have eaten at many a Thai restaurants and this is by far the best. Great atmosphere and very nice owners! I highly recommend!!

Quick and attentive service with a nice ambiance and ok food. This Thai place seemed like they had converted an older fish restaurant by throwing a fresh coat of paint and keeping the moldings and flooring. Not very Vegan or Gluten-Free friendly but the staff is willing to work with what they have to accommodate special dietary needs. Apparently they can do one or the other but both equals a bit of a short circuit. Had Chicken Drunken Noodles which were subtly flavored with peppers, onions, and tomato. The tomato put me off a bit as I'm not a big fan of tomatoes just thrown into a pan/wok and sautéed. Plenty of peppers, onions, and chicken with a single stray tomato. Overall, not bad. I was there with family for an early dinner, Mom got a Chicken Pad See Ew and Dang was that good. My whole dining experience would have been significantly elevated had I been dining on that. Staff felt bad about the GF/Vegan business and gave us some Edemame on the house plus all the entrees came with a small side of white rice to up the carbs. Props

The food here was really yummy. I had the coconut lime soup with shrimp, spring rolls and stirfried beef with basil. The soup was good, the shrimp was cooked well, but over all I thought the soup had a bit too much lime flavor. I enjoyed the beef, it had a little bell pepper and onion and was served with white rice. I especially liked the spring rolls. My husband got the drunken noodles which I actually liked better than than my dish. I took half of my meal home and it all reheated nicely and was just as tasty the next day. I liked the decor it was fun and inviting the walls were covered with a bright tropical mural, and everything looKed clean. The staff was very friendly and seemed to genuinely care about the customers. They stopped by the table and chatted with us. Alyssa who I think was the chef also came over and greeted us and took a few minutes to talk to us as well. It seemed like they want to get to know their customers.

Wanted thai today so ordered a pickup. Website showed lower prices. E.g massaman curry with chicken was $11.95 on website vs. $14.95 that I got charged. The restaurant rep promised will update soon but as I ended up paying 20% higher than expected I just want to make sure others check with the restaurant to avoid the experience that I had. 2 stars for the initial experience not for food.

Awesome Thai food with very good flavor! Wait staff we're very nice and worked as a team. Pad Thai was great, and the fried ice cream was a yummy ending. Can't wait to go again.

The problem here is the food. Ordered drunken noodles, a staple of Thai cooking and it was not even marginally acceptable. Noodles were covered with oil. Noodles were not the correct size or texture. Taste wasn't even close to the real thing. My wife's red sauce was too sweet and the flavor was off. Shrimp and chicken were acceptable. Service was good. Lunch specials come with complimentary spring roll and a cup of congee. The congee tasted like flavored grits. We have visited hundreds of Thai restaurants including most along 9th Ave. in Manhattan. This was the worst I have sampled.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Lake Worth. I love Thai food, but it is hard to find good Thai food that is fresh, affordable, and tasty. Sabai Thai fits the bill on all accounts. With other ethnic foods, I am very diverse in what I try. I can eat tacos or burritos, lasagna or spaghetti, pancakes or omelets. But, with Thai food, I ALWAYS get chicken pad thai. This is how I judge a great Thai restaurant. With Irish food, its Shepherds Pie. With Cuban, it is the Bistec de Pollo. With Thai food, it is the chicken pad thai. I prefer mine with 5 stars. The pad thai here is absolutely delicious. The serving size is larger enough for 1.5 people (which is normal size for my large appetite). The owners of this place are super nice. After my second visit, they remembered my name and what I ordered. That is what customer service is all about. Highly recommended!

So so good I highly recommend the Thai tea and the Thai iced coffee the pineapple rice and if they have a lobster special the lobsters very fresh and very very good! The waitress was extremely friendly and very nice all of the food was fresh and the seafood was amazing Best Thai of South Florida!

Hard to find good Thai in this area, this place is amazing, friendly staff, often do takeout. Love the curry puffs!

Now, here's a tiny little Thai 'jewel'! The menu is not abundant but their pad Thai & their drunken noodles are excellent. I also got a sum yum soup which was hot and very good. It's very low key/ casual. If you want, look it up online, get it to go! Reasonably priced, too...

Hands down the best Thai food I have ever had! The owner is great she walks around and welcomes everybody...we even call her mom! Definitely come here at least once a week with my family.

Excellent Thai food, and quick polite service. The best pad Thai that I have had in the area, and the most authentic. Blows lemon grass out of the water. Mini spring rolls are amazing.

Love the pad Thai, mini spring rolls, dumplings and wonton soup. And that's everything I've eaten today. Lol. My hubby had the fried ice cream last time and loved it.

Was hungry and decided to eat Thai tonight. Boyfriend been coming here for years apparently so I decided to give it a go. Service was welcoming and courteous. The beef salad was tender and yummy but slightly lacked flavor. The raw shrimp dish(Goong Chaire Nampla) was pretty good but lacked toppings to help compliment the flavor. I was extremely excited about the yellow curry but was disappointed. I asked for medium but tasted very mild. And the curry was way too sweet, probably should've gotten the red curry. Got the mango sticky rice for dessert and absolutely loved it!!!! Yummm!!! Overall I enjoyed it. Will come back but will not get the yellow curry again.

Ginger duck is outstanding! Service is impeccable, nice smiling ladies, remember my name and order from 2 weeks ago. Great flavor on everything I've tried, just the right amount of spice! Will definitely be going back!

Truly the best Thai I have ever had. Such a cute place. I can not wait for our next visit. I had the basil chicken and the hubby had lobster in garlic sauce. So yummy!

I think the best part about this restaurant happens to be the noodle dishes. My wife is from Thailand and we have been eating noodles at various Thai restaurants around the country over the years, and this one really ranks in the top three for the quality of the noodles and the authentic taste of the noodle dishes. That's not to say that the other dishes aren't fine, and authentic, and tasty but we usually go there because we like the noodles so much. I drive all the way from Boca Raton. Highly recommend this place for it's authenticity

The waitress sandy is rude and unprofessional. She likes to flirt with womens boyfriends while your at the table and ignore your requests for service. Also I've watched her go to the restroom and not wash her hands before returning to work and then handling your food. Do not give this place your business.

Authentic thai food. Best in boca and Boynton for sure. Coming from a Thai family I know thai food. The appetizers and main dishes are amazing. Portions are generous and service is superb.

Excellent food and friendly service. I had pad Thai for lunch which came with soup and a small spring roll. Give this place a try when looking for thai food

Friendly clean good service as usual. Tried their special, shrimp in lobster sauce. It wasn't exactly what I thought it would be, it was shrimp in a yellow curry sauce with ground chicken not really sure if there was any lobster in it The yellow curry was very strong. But it was pretty good. My companion had the pad Thai which Was ok. So for tonight's Experience it gets three stars.

Best Thai food in the area. Pad See Ew with crispy tofu will change your life. Sooo good. Chicken Pad Thai is amazing too. Oh and the crispy spring rolls are a must. Haven't had a bad thing off their menu. Delish.

4.5 stars!!! Only because I have not yet had Thai food before and have nothing else to compare to but loved it!!!! Ordered take out and per the server's recommendation had the lunch size pad thai! Sat at the bar to wait for my order and was immediately offered a glass of ice water... talk about great customer service! Family owned and it shows! The food is delicious!!! Absolutely great and at a great price (under $10). I will definitely return with my wonderful boyfriend and some friends!!

We are from North Carolina and always go to Sabai when we are in Palm Beach. We only discovered it a little over a year ago and have eaten there about a dozen times. They do a great pad thai and we have enjoyed all the other it's as well. It is the best Thai we have found in the area. We try to order take put to take back to North Carolina every-time we are here. Definitely worth a try.

This place tried to rip me off :( I was charged for something I didn't want or ask for. They didn't even apologize. So unprofessional!

Walked in walked out. This is not a sushi place. They have a very limited sushi menu. Perhaps they have good thai like others have mentioned but don't come here expecting a usual sushi menu.

Sabai has excellent basil fried rice and pad thai. It is a wonderful little sanctuary for lunch with great staff and prices. Nice quiet place to have a lunch meeting. I highly recommend them. So happy to have been introduced to Thai food there.

Thai food is one of my favorite cuisines. I was looking forward to my first visit to Sabai Thai and unfortunately, I am thoroughly disappointed. Went here for Saturday lunch around 1:30pm. Food was below average, not exceptional Thai. The lunch came with tofu & chicken veggie soup & a chicken spring roll (which neither the server mentioned or was it stated on the menu this is served with whichever entree you select because as soon as we came in we ordered Vegetable Spring Rolls). The entrees we ordered were Shrimp Pad Thai, Chicken in Basil sauce, & Mixed Veggies in Red Curry. Ordered all entrees medium spicy (3 stars) none of which were medium spicy, let alone 1 star. All entrees were mediocre at best. If you are vegetarian, I would highly recommend to stay away as they have no variety of veggies in the vegetarian dishes (if of course you only like broccoli, carrots, & squash). The food seemed more "Americanized" Thai as opposed to authentic. Prefer Tub Tim Thai in the Wellington area as more authentic in "Thai" taste. Service was rushed as they are open until 2:30pm for lunch & the server barely gave us 2 minutes to look over our menu even though we were there 1 hour prior to them closing.

My husband and I have eaten here twice, once for take out and once to dine in. Both times we are very happy with the quality of the food. They don't list that you can choose tofu as the protein (as opposed to chicken or seafood) but the chef accommodated our request with no problem. We have had the green, yellow and red curry and all were fantastic. The waitress was very nice and we will definitely continue returning to this wonderful restaurant. We both recommend if you are looking for a nice thai place in the area.

I ordered every thing spicy as Thai standard taste buds. There were kaeng-om chicken, somtam, keemow shrimp. I certainly satisfied with my hot & spicy dishes. Very much authentic Thai!

  • Michael E.

When entering I was greeted by the 2 friendly staff members. They knew I was never there and made conversation especially since I was alone. I normally end up with Pad Thai, but wanted something different. She suggested a pork dish which I got as medium spicy. I must say it was very well done and just the right amount of spice without being too much. I was in visiting from NJ, but will definitely go there on my next trip to that area.

  • Steve K.

The other reviews are correct. The food was excellent and the people are super personable! The Thai medium is a bit mild - go for 4 out of 5 rather than 3 on the hots. Pad Thai duck incredible. Very crispy duck. The green curry was also tasty. We'll be back!!

I have been going here for years! Just tried to place a take out order and the woman was so rude. I do not understand what the problem with subbing the fried rice for a charge. They have done it always and all she could say was they weren't a Chinese restaurant! So disappointed they have just lost two very regular and loyal customers.

    (1)
  • Jan D.

Best Thai food I've ever had! No matter what you order, it is simply delicious! The owner Tony is friendly and funny. I sometimes ask him to what to order and he always recommend me something different and amazing. When I was sick for one week, my kitchen-challenged husband went to ask Tony what a sick Chinese woman would love to eat --- and Tony cooked the exact food I loved!
